Who is Mujeres de Maiz? Mujeres de Maiz is a collective of spiritual artivists who came together 17 years ago inspired by the Zapatista Womyn (and the Chican@/Chipanec@ encuentro we helped organize) and our Queer Womyn of Color veteran@ artivists to create a safe space and an empowering wombynt in Los Angeles. The result was her-storical and groundbreaking — transforming lives and inspiring circles across the nation. Todos somos Mujeres de Maiz!
